The stainless steel plate has a smooth surface, high plasticity, toughness and mechanical strength, and is resistant to corrosion by acids, alkaline gases, solutions and other media. It is an alloy steel that does not rust easily, but not absolutely rust-free.
What is a stainless steel plate?
Stainless steel plates are usually sold in an annealed state and are available in most grades. Our stainless steel plates have a standard 2B surface and various polished surfaces. Polished surfaces range from standard #4 to mirror #8 and are usually covered with a removable vinyl coating. Our standard paper sizes include 4' x 8', 4' x 10' and 5' x 10', but sizes can also be customized. Stainless steel plates are sold and polished under HRAP (Hot Rolling Annealing and Pickling) conditions.

How do we cut stainless steel plates?
Like thin plates, stainless steel plates have standard sizes ranging from 4 feet to 8 feet in width and from 8 feet to 20 feet in length, but they can also be customized to suit the application. Stainless steel cutting plates can be cut to a thickness of 3/8 inch, while plasma cutting can be more than 3/8 inch. Water jet, band saw or laser cutting can also be used.
